Start with basic equations, and work in more difficult ones. Math skills are like any skill. If you don’t use it often, it becomes more challenging
Find a Friend
There are often local study groups that you can connect with. If you can’t find one, organize one.
Do it Yourself
When you have a difficult task, it is very tempting to find someone that is an “expert” that can do it for you. With a little bit of extra time, and research if necessary, you can become that expert.
Learn and Then Explain
According to psychiatrist William Glasser, How We Learn:
- 10% of what we READ
- 20% of what we HEAR
- 30% of what we SEE
- 50% of what we SEE and HEAR
- 70% of what is DISCUSSED with OTHERS
- 80% of what is EXPERIENCED PERSONALLY
- 95% of what we TEACH TO SOMEONE ELSE
